Why do I need to get a power of attorney?
We hereby declare that we are solely responsible for any and all consequences arising from the rejection by the customs administration of any documents submitted on behalf of our company for the presentation of goods to customs, their subjection to customs-approved processing or use, requests for binding tariff or origin information, and the application of exemption and exception provisions, due to the documents being inaccurate, untrue, or not representing the goods, or containing material and/or formal losses. Within the scope of the authority and responsibilities granted to Customs Brokers by legislation, we undertake all necessary procedures in accordance with laws and regulations to complete the customs procedures for the goods, provided that the documents we entrust to them – such as Invoices, Certificates of Origin, ATR, EUR.1, Insurance Policies, Investment Incentive Certificates, Inward Processing Permits, Expertise Reports, Bills of Lading, Freight Receipts, Packing Lists, Royalty License Payment documents, and other documents that may affect the price – are in compliance with the law and regulations. We will handle all transactions on our behalf with all banks and all official and private institutions, organizations, and companies. finalize, sign, receive and hand over documents, Republic of Turkey. To prepare, submit, correct, cancel, follow up and finalize all types of Summary Declarations and Customs Declarations required by customs; to correct, prepare, sign and submit Value Declaration Forms, petitions, undertakings and other documents to the relevant authorities; to receive and deliver goods from customs, to sign delivery and receipt documents, to request their transfer to the relevant addresses; to deposit customs duties, fees, funds and deposits in cash, check, guarantee or letter of guarantee, to request refunds and excess payments from all refund authorities including treasuries, tax offices and banks in the form of checks, cash, guarantee or letter of guarantee; to receive all goods addressed to us from postal administrations, port operators, Turkish Airlines, State Railways, TASİŞ enterprises, private sector warehouses and temporary storage places; to prepare and sign orders, bills of lading, delivery and receipt records and all kinds of documents to be prepared in this regard; to endorse; to handle warehousing and demurrage. This authorization is necessary for us to act on behalf of your company and handle all customs-related transactions at all official and private institutions and organizations, including: depositing fees, guarantees, and all expenses under any name to the relevant cashiers and treasuries; recovering any overpayments; submitting customs declarations to the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Free Zones, the Ministry of Health, the Atomic Energy Authority, Exporter Associations, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Environment, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Exporter Associations, Export Directorates, the State Planning Organization, the Undersecretariat of Customs, Treasury, and Foreign Trade, and their affiliated units; signing invoices, petitions, undertakings, and other documents; submitting them to the relevant authorities; following up and finalizing them; and receiving them in person.
